A tool is a programmed set of controls and features. Tools define the steps you see and do in the Work view. Here is an overview of some typical tools. Remember that the names of steps can be edited and custom.

Done has no controls or features.
Some default workflows can use the same tool in more than one step. Examples:

The Compare tool can be used in both the Compare step and the Peer Review step.

The Transcribe tool can be used in both a Transcribe step, a Phrase BT Transcribe step, and the Final Text Review step.

Versions, Upload Audio or Launch Audacity buttons appear in various steps.
(Auto Segment) and its associated features mean you can use the segmenter.
Use the Edit Workflow dialog box to examine or edit the workflow (the set of steps and their tools).
You can use the Find Resources dialog box to find existing resources or use AI tools to create them.
