Versions dialog box

You can open this dialog box from these places:
- In the Sections & Passages tab, click or a symbol in the Action column.
- In the Audio tab, click a number in the Version column.
- In the Work view, click Versions in a step that uses a tool that enables this button.

This dialog box has a list of all the versions of the audio file.

Here are some of the things you can see or do in this dialog box.

Button	Procedure
	Latest Version: Choose which version you want to use as the latest for publishing or sharing. If you choose a low version number, that version number changes to become the highest number. This affects other controls, such as the Load Latest Audio in Record steps.
	Play the audio file.
or symbol	In the Published column, click the symbol to open and use the Publish dialog box.
link	In Reference column, click the reference link to open the Transcription dialog box.
	The Date column shows you when the audio recording was uploaded to or recorded in Audio Project Manager.
	Download the audio file.
	Delete the audio file.

Important

If you edit an audio file in Audacity and import it, you have another version.
Audio files you make using Audio Project Manager tools are usually saved as *.wav files. Audacity files are *.mp3 files.
The Versions tab in the Resource Edit dialog box is similar.
