Resource (for Internalization)

People can only translate what they understand. They need to work with whole sections of scripture, not just individual passages.

To help solve this problem, some workflows use tools that let you use resources to help you or teams members internalize the information. For example, steps that use the Compare tool allow team members to hear resources in addition to the vernacular recording.

So as an overview, a resource is any information you add that can help you or team members understand what will be translated.

Shared Resources

  1. Shared Resources is selected () in the Configure Audio Project Settings dialog box or in the Edit Audio Project Settings dialog box.

  2. Internalization Resources for other AMP projects is a selected () destination in the Publish dialog box.

  3. The latest versions of the audio files have that destination in the Published column for each audio file you want to share in the Versions tab of the Resource Edit dialog box and Note Details dialog box.
