On devices with a Windows™ operating system, files used with Audacity stored in two folders in Documents/Audacity:
The aup3 folder set stores *.aup3 and related files.
The io folder set stores *.mp3 files.
Currently Audacity will read *.ogg format files if you follow the steps in Audacity to install the ffmpeg plugin:
