The Resource Edit dialog box is only used in a project if someone selected () Shared Resources in the Configure Audio Project Settings dialog box or Edit Audio Project Settings dialog box.
This tab is where you enter metadata about the resource. The Title and Language are required.
Title: Typically, the title is recorded. It appears in the Title column. It is included in the published contents.
Description: This is a description of the resource itself. It is not included in the published contents. You can type it using in the vernacular language or a language of wider communication (LWC).
It does not appear in the Description column. The description you add in that column is shorter and is used to distinguish the various resources from each other.
Category: If you choose a category, it appears in the Reference column, in steps, and is included in the published contents.
You can add a new category ().
Keywords: Keywords are only used in APM.
Currently, you cannot search for them, so you may choose to not use this feature at this time.
Terms of use: What you type or paste in the Terms of use box appears in the Review Terms of Use dialog box which opens from the Link Shared Resources dialog box.
Language: Typically, you would choose the same language that you chose in the Configure Audio Project Settings dialog box. This informs the destinations of the language of the resource.
This tab is where you set up the books and references that will be available to vernacular passages.
References do not need to exactly match a passage reference. Instead, if a reference contains the corresponding book and chapter, and any of the verses in the passage, then the resource is available to the passage.
A Versions dialog box appears if you click the symbol in the Publish column. In some cases, there can be a tab in this Resource Edit dialog box. It shows all the versions of audio files for the current passage.
