The Create a new audio project topic describe when this dialog box is used.
Click the Speaker box, and then type or paste the name of the speaker. Then, press the Tab key.
If you added a new speaker, use the Provide Rights dialog box it to upload or record a file that releases the rights to use material recorded by this speaker.
Do one of these steps in the Upload Audio dialog box:
Drag and drop audio files from an open file explorer window into the box.
Click the box and then navigate to the files you want to upload. Click the file or files and then click Open.
Select () the audio project type, General or Scripture.
If you selected Scripture, click Book, and then click the book for this audio file.
Click Language and then use the Choose Language Details dialog box to choose the transcription language, script and font for the project.
Select () Spell Check if you want to enable spell checking.
Click Upload.
A progress bar shows the status of the upload.
Do one of these steps:
If there was no associated audio file for that passage, it will be associated with the passage as version 1.
If there was already an associated audio file for that passage, the imported audio file will be a new version.
The Upload Audio dialog box appears.

When you upload and associate an updated version of the audio file, the version number in the Audio tab goes up by one.
Examples:
You click Upload Audio if you have an audio file of a Retelling or a Question and Answer that is not yet in Audio Project Manager. These audio files could be used, for example, if you have a step that uses the Consultant Check tool.
In these cases, you can manually select a portion of the vernacular audio waveform and then upload the audio. Then the start-end timestamp of that selected portion appears as the Source Segment in the Select Item dialog box.
