In Audio Project Manager, audio usually refers to vernacular audio recordings that will be transcribed, but it can refer to other uses of recorded content.
The Audio tab lists audio files of speech in the vernacular language. These can be transcribed.
The Work view can use audio records as resources you can add or link and use for internalization. You can also record back translations, questions and answers and so on. You can also make an audio recordings for comments in discussions.
People with the role of Admin set up audio, which can include procedures like these:
Upload audio files with *.mp3. *.mp4, *.wav or *.ogg formats.
Record audio with *.wav format.
Use the Audacity program to record *.mp3 files and import them.
This can happen automatically or be done manually, depending on how you created your project.
As necessary, you can update an audio file.
It is important that you use a file name convention consistently. Spreadsheet convention describes how you could set up the sections and passages. Typically, file names would be based on this convention. So, a file name convention could look like this: LUK-001-001-004.mp3, LUK-001-005-007.mp3 and so on.
Auto Match allows you develop a file name template.
If you set up a corresponding project for back translations, your file name convention should distinguish the files by language or purpose.
