Provide Rights dialog box

Speaker box appears in various places. Examples include when you record a vernacular audio file, record a back translation audio file, use the Upload Audio dialog box or you use the Audacity Manager dialog box. The Select Voice dialog box also has a Speaker box.

Use this Provide Rights dialog box to record or upload a statement that provides the rights to use the speaker's voice. The suggested statement is provided.

PIC Upload Rights File

Click to upload an audio or visual file that provides an intellectual property release for the speaker.

Use the Upload Speaker Rights Release dialog box to find and upload the file.

 

Click to start or pause recording.

 

PIC

Click to play or pause the playback.

Zoom In / Zoom Out on the audio waveform

 

Click to see the entire waveform.

 

Click to delete entire audio file or recording.

 

Click it to start an experimental remote AI service that attempts to reduce noise from your recording.

 

Click to undo the last recording.

 

 Save

Click to save your recording or to associate the uploaded file with the speaker.

 

Copy the statement to your computer's clipboard. 

 

Personalize

Click to open the Personalize Voice Permission dialog box.

 

Do Later

Click to postpone providing rights until the next time you use material from this speaker.

 

Tip

In this case, you must record the suggested statement or one with similar content.
