You can play audio resources in steps that use the Internalize tool or the Compare tool.
Headphones or speakers are connected to the computer.
If you see a down arrow () in a Resource control, click it and then click the resource you want to hear.
Click (Play) for the resource you want to listen to.
Here are things you can do:
Click and drag the slider control () to move back or forward in the playback.
Watch the time (current / duration) counter to know where you are in the playback.
Click to skip back 3 seconds in the playback. You can click it more than one time to move back more.
You can click (Play from start) or
(Play following content).
Typically the time (current / duration) counter starts at 0:00 and only shows the duration of the current chunk.
However, you can skip () back into a previous chunk, which would make the start time a negative number. This would be the number of seconds before the start of the current chunk.
If you click (Play following content), you can see a current value that is larger than the duration. This happens during the playback of a chunk that is for the subsequent passage. In this case, you will also see the slider control remain at the end (
).
