In Audio Project Manager, the term integration currently means synchronizing with Paratext (online) or
Paratext Local (offline).
If you have an internet connection, you will update the online project in Paratext with your changes and receive changes done by other team members.
If you are offline (), you will update the local Paratext project that is on your computer.
You can synchronize your vernacular and any back translation data if your workflow has steps for them.
See: My Accounts overview.
The audio project type must be Scripture ().
A passage must have a state of Ready to Sync () to integrate to Paratext.
There must be a book in Paratext with the same book code in a registered account.
You must have permission to edit that project.
Online: You must be connected to the Internet to sync with Paratext online. Also, Send/Receive must have been completed at least one time so the project is available on the server.
Offline (): Your local Paratext project must be registered.
In the Work view, the workflow must be edited correctly. See Also: Paratext Sync dialog box.
Upgrade all team members at the same time to make sure all use the same version of Audio Project Manager.
Otherwise, some data handling will not happen or appear the same, such as segmentation or syncing in Desktop.
See: https://software.sil.org/audioprojectmanager/download/ and Install and start Desktop.
If your Paratext token expired, a message appears and informs you.
You need to log out of Paratext and log in again before you can complete the sync.
Pull from Paratext describes how to get contents from Paratext into Audio Project Manager in a browser or Desktop. In this case, any cross references and footnotes that were in Paratext remain in Paratext, even though they did not appear in Audio Project Manager or Desktop. In Paratext, they are moved to the end of the verse and not kept with particular words.
Some integrations can depend on your role.
When you edit the workflow, you can use the Paratext Sync dialog box to choose the kind of transcription you want to use for a given step.
This will affect steps but not if you sync from the Home page or from the Sections & Passages tab.
