State

State indicates where in the process a particular passage is at the present time.

State	Label	Meaning
	Recording Needed	The recording was rejected or no audio file has been attached to the passage.
	Transcribe	The passage is ready to be transcribed.
	Transcribing	Someone started to transcribe the passage and clicked Save at least once.
	Correction Needed	The transcription was rejected because it needs a correction.
	Incomplete	The transcription was rejected because it is not complete.
	Review	The transcription is ready for review.
	Reviewing	An Editor (role) started to review the transcription and clicked Save at least once.
	Ready to Sync	The transcription (scripture) was reviewed but not yet synchronized.
	Done	The scripture transcription was synchronized. Alternatively, the general transcription was reviewed and submitted.

Tip

• The state of a passage changes when you click one of these buttons: Save, Submit, Reject or Reopen.

The state of a passage does not change when you assign or unassign it.

The Reports dialog box shows how many passages (if at least one) are in the current audio project are various states.

• History shows the changes of state for each passage, notes, comments and more.

• Comments are also saved to this history when the state of a passage is changed.

• If Ready to Sync () or Done () appear, you can click Reopen if changes are needed.

• Transcribe steps also show the state "chip" if the step has an audio recording you can transcribe.
