On the top app bar, click your avatar and then click My Account. The My Account dialog box opens.
Not linked to Paratext means you cannot sync with or pull data from Paratext. In this case do this:
Click the Link to Paratext link, click Logout, and then log in again with your Paratext log in.
Linked to Paratext means that Audio Project Manager found a Paratext account with the same email address as the one you used to log in, or one that is on record with your Google account, or you are working offline and Paratext is installed on your computer.
You can pull from and sync with Paratext.
After you have linked to your Paratext account at least one time, and if your Google account shares the same email address, then you can sync or pull if you log in via your Google account. Alternatively, you can type that same address in when you log in.
If you work on a team, the team must agree on which Paratext project the team can pull from and which Paratext project the team sync with.
You can have an online profile and separate offline profiles. In Desktop, these user profiles appear on the Connection Mode page. Be careful with roles and Paratext permissions and projects.
Avatar pictures: The picture in your avatar is the same as the one you have for the Google account you used when you logged in.
Some users of APM might only see their initials. Specifically, Auth0 gets the picture from Google, and it is copied into the user profile when a user creates the account. If there was no picture when the account was added, initials of the user's full name and given name appear.
Click the Edit Profile button.
Click and edit contents in the Full Name, Given Name or Family Name box.
Click Preferred Language and then click the language you want as your UI language.
Click Time zone and then click your time zone.
Select () Receive Email Notifications and Digests if you want to receive an email (digest) about your daily activity. This also controls whether you get other email notifications, such as when there a release that updates the program software.
Click Save, if you will not use the Advanced pane controls.
If you see the Enable Data Sync control, you can enable it.
When it is enabled, you can enter a number in the Frequency of data sync in minutes control.
This determine how often Audio Project Manager (APM) synchronizes other people's changes with your data. For example, if another team member added a file, it will download to your computer when the sync happens.
If you enter a 0 (zero), your data is saved on the server, and APM will check for other people's changes when you log in. But after that, you will not receive changes other people made.
If you delete yourself, you are blocked from using the program and references to your work are removed so others will not know what you did.
Then if you log in after deleting yourself, you will be a new Audio Project Manager member even though your name and email account appear the same. References to your work will start over, just like any other new member.
