Top App Bar

In a browser-based app (application), the top app bar appears at the top of the window. The Desktop app is similar.

What you see	Its Use
	Opens the home page.
Audio Project Setup	Opens the Audio Project Setup view. See Note below.
Audio Project Setup or Work	In informs you which view you have displayed.
Go Offline	Click this button to work offline (Desktop only).
Go Online	Click this button to go back online (Desktop only).
	Click to open a menu with these commands:
Help Center	Opens this Help file.
View spreadsheet convention	Opens Spreadsheet convention. This command appears when you are in the Sections & Passages tab.
Scripture hierarchical sample spreadsheet	Downloads a sample spreadsheet you can look at, or copy and paste into an audio project. This command appears when you are in the Sections & Passages tab.

About	Opens the About box so you can see the version, build date and more. You might need this information if you report an issue or get more help.
Avatar	Click your avatar to see a menu with these commands:
Role:	Displays your role in the current audio project.
My Account	Opens the User profile window.
Log Out	Logs out of Audio Project Manager (browser).
Switch User	Returns you to the Connection Mode page (Desktop app).

Privacy Policy	The SIL International Language Software Privacy Policy.
Terms of Use	The SIL International Language Software Terms of Use.

Additional commands:	You only see these when you press and hold the Shift key and then click your avatar. Use these commands only if you report a problem and you are told to use one by a developer.
Clear Cache	Clears temporary files and other items.
Log Out and Force Data Reload	Warning Using this command may cause a loss of your data. In Desktop, Log Out and Force Data Reload will remove all audio projects. You will need to import the audio project data again.

Note

The top app bar does not have a button that opens the Work view.

Instead, open the Work view from the Sections & Passages tab for a particular passage and step.
