To open this dialog box:
Go to the Work view.
Click the Add button and then click Link Shared.
Do any of these steps to sort and filter shared resources before you link a Shared Resource.
Click and then choose to option you want to use as the filter. Initially, you might want to initially select All Resources to see how many appear, and then either filter that list or select a different resource level (passage, chapter or book).
If All Resources is not shown, two more controls appear. Do either of these steps:
Click and then click the desired book.
Enter chapter or passage information in the middle box.
Move your mouse pointer over a column header to see the arrow ( or
). Click the arrow to set the sort order based on that column.
Move your mouse pointer over a column header to see the (more Menu). Click any of these menu options:
To filter the rows, click Filter and then do any of these steps:
Click the Columns down arrow () and then click the column.
Click the Operator down arrow () and then click the operator you want to use.
Click the Value line and then type the character or string of characters that would work with the operator you clicked.
Click Hide column to hide that column.
Click Manage columns to open the dialog box that lists all the columns. Click the slider control for a column to display (
) or hide (
) that column.
Shared resources are not the same as general resources which you can upload and configure.
Shared resources can be seen and used by others in other teams who work online, anywhere in the world.
Normally users should upload resources to their project or use resources shared by someone else (rather than using shared resources to share between their own projects).
If the same resource is needed on multiple projects, consider uploading it to each project.
