Review About Publishing symbols and Find an existing note.
In Desktop, you must be online.
The (Add Note) command is available in various rows, such as book name (
), Movement () an existing note (
) or below a Passage.
Click the row that you want to appear above the new Note you will add.
Click (More) in the Extras column, and then click
(Add Note).
A new Note row () appears.
Optionally, double click the cell in the Description column for the new note row and type a brief description for the Note. It is often used to distinguish the various Notes from each other.
Click a symbol or (Note Details) to open and use the Note Details dialog box.
Click (More) in the Extras column, and then click
(Record/Edit Audio). Use the Record/Edit Audio dialog box to record the Note, which you described in the Description column.
If you have a written version of the Note, consider saving it as a *.pdf file. Then, you can upload it as a resource in a step that uses the Internalize tool.
Neither of the Note descriptions appear in any publications that come from Audio Project Manager.
If you found and linked to an existing note, you can only publish that note from its source project and the Versions dialog box only shows versions of the audio in its source project.
Click row that you want to move.
Click (More) in the Extras column, and then click
(Up) or
(Down).
A current row is moved one row up or down.
Do this step again if needed.
Click Save.
If a Note row you want to delete has audio you want to save, do these steps:
Open the Note Details dialog box and then click the Versions tab.
Click (Download Audio), click the folder you want to download it too, and then click Save to close that dialog box.
Close the Note Details dialog box.
Click Note row that you want to delete.
Click (More) in the Extras column, and then click
(Delete).
A current row is deleted.
Any audio recordings and descriptions are deleted.
Click Save.
