In general, a keyboard shortcut is a combination of keystrokes that do the same things that you can also do by clicking controls with your mouse.
As you record or play an audio file, add segment boundaries, transcribe a passage or review a transcription, you can use keyboard shortcuts. The various tools may have different shortcuts, but here are examples:

(Add or Remove Boundary):
Click a position in the wave form.
If there is a boundary at or very near that position, that boundary is removed.
Otherwise, a boundary is added.
(Next Segment) will insert a verse number at the location of your insertion point (cursor) if you transcribe after you completed a step with the Mark Verses tool.
You would typically use (Next Segment) with
(Loop On/Loop Off).
(Loop On/Loop Off) does not have a keyboard shortcut.
