To open this dialog box, click the Personalize button in the Provide Rights dialog box.
When you use the experimental feature called Convert VoiceAI, you will use the Select Voice dialog box. When you enter a name of a new speaker, the Provide Rights dialog box appears. One of the options there is to personalize the voice permission statement.
Here are things you can do in this dialog box:
Exclude my name.
Select () this option to exclude your name from the statement.
This might be used, for example, if the safety of the speaker in a concern.
Note
If you select this check box, and click Save, the next time you open this check box, this option is cleared. So, you might need to select it again.
I work for hire.
Select () this option to inform others that you do not expect additional compensation for your work on the project.
Scope of use
Select () This Team or All Teams
If you select All Teams, type your gender and age. Click the Exclude languages field to open a Choose Language Details dialog box so you can find the language you want to exclude.
To remove a language, click the X that appears after the language name.
Gender, Age and Excluded languages are individually optional. Excluded languages are languages that I speak. To prevent impersonation, SIL Global will not use my voice with the language or languages I choose. Nothing prevents anyone from using someone's voice, but this allows user to state their wish. This is an honor-system.
