A team is a set of people who work on a particular audio project.
Someone with the role of Admin needs to add a team first, and then create a team audio project (). By contrast, you can add and work in personal audio projects (
). You can also add a team, and be the only person in the team.
You cannot add a team if you use Desktop offline (), but teams are added to Desktop projects if you import PTF files that have teams.
A Peer Group is a subset of the team members.
A person with the role of Admin can add a peer group, select members it, edit it or delete it. These peer groups can be used for assignments of steps, or assignments of discussions.
See Also: Permission Scheme.
It is not possible to change a personal audio project to be a team audio project.
If there is a chance that you might form a team in the future, work as a team of one person (which is different than working alone).
Upgrade all team members at the same time to make sure all use the same version of Audio Project Manager.
Otherwise, some data handling will not happen or appear the same, such as segmentation or syncing in Desktop.
See: https://software.sil.org/audioprojectmanager/download/ and Install and start Desktop.
You can use the Team Settings dialog box for various team settings.
