Team & Peer Groups

Team

A team is a set of people who work on a particular audio project.

Someone with the role of Admin needs to add a team first, and then create a team audio project (). By contrast, you can add and work in personal audio projects (). You can also add a team, and be the only person in the team.

You cannot add a team if you use Desktop offline (), but teams are added to Desktop projects if you import PTF files that have teams.

Peer Groups

A Peer Group is a subset of the team members.

A person with the role of Admin can add a peer group, select members it, edit it or delete it. These peer groups can be used for assignments of steps, or assignments of discussions.

See Also: Permission Scheme.

Important

If there is a chance that you might form a team in the future, work as a team of one person (which is different than working alone).

Otherwise, some data handling will not happen or appear the same, such as segmentation or syncing in Desktop.
