If Permissions may be set for projects of this team is selected (), the Assignments tab shows Permission Schemes.
A Permission Scheme is a list of all the workflow steps and who is assigned to each step. Each permission scheme has a unique name.
People with the role of Admin can add one or more permission schemes and then assign steps to peer groups or individual members. Permission Schemes are applied to all the projects that the team has.
For example, a team might want to have a permission scheme of those members who will add content to steps, and another permission scheme for those who will review the content.
If a step is not assigned to a peer group or person, anyone can do the work.
If a step is assigned to an Admin, then that Admin is responsible to complete that step.
Regardless of role, team-level permissions, or assignments in a scheme, any team member can add comments in discussions, and use the Export dialog box.
If Permissions may be set for projects of this team is not selected () then the Assignments tab shows Assignments Schemes.
Assignments are suggestive, so others can complete a step that is assigned to someone else.
Permissions are restrictive, so a step can only be completed by the person or peer group with the permission to do that step.
