In the Sections & Passages tab, the Graphic column can hold pictures (graphics) in rows that are used for publishing.
If a row allows a graphic, it will have a colored placeholder with characters. B refers to a book (). A refers to the Alternate Name (
). M refers to a Movement (
). S refers to a Section. C refers to a Chapter (
). Notes (
) begin with N, but will include the first letter of the category you chose for the note.
In Desktop, you must be online.
Do these steps:
If you do not see the Graphic column, click (Show Publishing Information).
Click the colored button for the row that needs a graphic.
The Upload Graphic dialog box appears.
There you can read about which formats you can use: *.png, *.jpg (or *.jpeg), or *.webp.
Do one of these steps:
Drag and drop the graphics file into the box that is in the middle of this dialog box.
Click the box to browse your computer for the graphic file. Then, click the desired file and click Open in the file browser.
The graphic is displayed in a large size in the dialog box.
Type or paste the holder in the Graphics Rights holder box.
The Graphics Rights holder box can hold text with dates, such as @2025 SIL Global, or just names.
Click Upload.
A Confirm Change dialog box may appear in some situations. For example if you open the Upload Graphic dialog box for an existing graphic and then change the graphics rights holder.
If Upload is not available, click Close to save the changes.
Audio Project Manager (APM) will compress large graphic files you upload, and store the sizes needed for APM and for the Akuo Spoken Bible app.
