A Play Item button is used in some steps, typically related to recording a Retell or a Question and Answer or a Back Translation or a similar audio file.
Headphones or speakers are connected to the computer.
Click the Play Item button.
The Select Item dialog box opens.
Click the row that shows the audio recording you want to play.
The dialog box closes automatically.
The audio file you clicked appears in the player below the Play Item button. Various information that you saw in the dialog box appears next to this button. You might see the name of the speaker, the source version number, source segment start-stop, and the date/time created.
Click (Play/Pause).
Click to adjust the playback volume.
Click and drag the slider control () to move ahead or forward in the playback.
Click (Delete) to delete the current recorded audio file (optional).
Click (More) to see these two commands:
Download: Click to download the audio file (optional).
Playback speed: Click to see playback speeds in a list. Click the speed you want.
Type a transcription describes how to transcribe these audio recordings.
You can download () an audio recording and listen to it using other standard playback software.
However, you cannot reload it for subsequent edits in the step.
