When you set up an audio project, you will set up sections and passages.
If this information exists in a spreadsheet, you can copy and paste it into Audio Project Manager.
In your spreadsheet, select and copy all the columns and as many rows as needed to capture all the sections and passages.
The information is copied to your computer clipboard.
In the Sections & Passages tab, click Spreadsheet and then click Paste Spreadsheet.
The information is pasted in a table. If you copied the wrong number of columns for the project type, you will see a message box.
If the spreadsheet is long, you do not need to be copy and paste it all at the same time. You can copy and paste a number of its rows until the entire spreadsheet is in the table.
Click Save.
You can copy all the rows in an audio project to your computer clipboard and then paste them into another audio project.
If you want to copy only up to 25 rows, and the project has more rows than 25, see: Add, Move or Copy a section or passage.
Make sure there are no active filters.
Otherwise, the copy and paste options are not available.
Do these steps:
Choose the source audio project and then click the Sections & Passages tab.
In the Sections & Passages tab, click the Spreadsheet button and then click Copy to clipboard.
Choose the destination audio project.
Make sure the project settings match the source project. They must have the same layout and audio project type.
Click the Sections & Passages tab.
Click Spreadsheet and then click Paste Spreadsheet.
Click Save.
You can also paste (Ctrl + V) rows from your computer clipboard into a spreadsheet or other document that you want to share or archive.
The Sections & Passages tab has a table that is similar to a spreadsheet, like Microsoft Excel. That is, it has cells. When you paste content and click something else, that content is saved locally in the table. It is only saved to the audio project on the on-line server when you click Save. You can click Save as often as you want to.
If the Paste Spreadsheet menu option does not work in a browser, your browser probably has blocked the Audio Project Manager site from your clipboard. In this case, you can click a header in the table, such as Section, and then use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V.
To unblock your clipboard from Audio Project Manager, you need to change the settings in your browser. While this is beyond the scope of these Audio Project Manager Helps, here are things you can do to get started.
Chrome: In your Chrome browser, search for chrome://settings/content/clipboard and then allow Audio Project Manager (example).
