In the Sections & Passages tab, you see a filter button ( or
). It opens a pane that has controls you can use to filter the audio project. The blue dot shows that a filter is set.
Click the filter button and then do any of the following steps.
Select () Hide rows assigned to others to filter out rows that are not assigned to you (the current user).
Rows that are not assigned to anyone remain in view.
Select () Hide Done rows to filter out rows that show Done in the Step column.
Done appears when the Step Complete check box has been selected () in the Work view for all the steps up to the Done step.
Workflow Step: To limit the number of rows you want to see, do one or both of the following:
Click Minimum and then click a step. Then, any rows that are before that step are filtered out.
Click Maximum and then click a step. Then, any rows that are after that step are filtered out.
Section: To limit the number of Sections you want display, do one or both of the following:
Click Minimum and then enter the minimum Section value, such as 1.
If the project has publishing rows, an example could be S1. If the project has Movements, an example could be M1 S1.
Click Maximum and then enter the maximum Section value, such as 3.
If the project has publishing rows, an example could be S3. If the project has Movements, an example could be M2 S3.
Invalid Section appears if you entered a Movement or Section value that does not exist in the project.
In some cases, you might need to use the Resequence button.
A person with the role of Admin can select () Save as project default to save the filter as the project default for all team members.
Reset will change the filter setting to these settings for each team member.
If you need to see all the rows or add more rows, click and drag the slider () to disable the filter.
The filter settings are kept.
So to enable the filter again at a later time, simply click and drag the slider () the other direction.
Click Apply to see the results.
If you like the results, click Close. Otherwise, click Clear and change the filter.
The Clear button is available after you click Apply.
If you click Clear, your selections and settings are all removed and then the filter pane closes.
For the Section control, the Minimum value returns to 1 and Maximum returns to the largest number found in the Section.
The blue dot () informs you that the project has an active filter.
Only applied selections and settings are remembered.
If you select check boxes or make other settings, and then click outside of the filter pane, the filter pane closes and is reset to the default settings the next time you open it.
