Your workflow might include these types of recordings: vernacular, Back Translation, Retelling or Question and Answer.
The length of your passages can affect community checking, retelling and so on.
So, consider what passage length will give the best results.
Audio Project Manager cannot merge passages that you are continuing to work on.
Therefore, you might want to have fewer longer passages, rather than many shorter passages.
You might want to make one passage for an entire section in some cases, while for other sections you could have many passages.
When you log in and log out, any changes done by team members are downloaded and your changes are sent to the online server.
This synchronizes the data among the members of your team. Then if you work offline, you will have the latest files that were on the server.
If any team members work offline, the team should agree on a strategy to ensure the server is kept up to date.
For Desktop offline (), see Back up all audio projects.
If you work online, your data is stored both on your computer and in the online servers so backup files are not necessary.
