From Desktop offline, (), you can back up all your projects into a single *.zip file. It can contain *.ptf and *.itf files. If you work alone, offline, *.itf files are not included because they are not necessary.
Open the Export dialog box in one of these ways:
On the home page, click the More button () on a project card and then click
Export.
In the Audio Project Setup view, click the Sections & Passages tab. Then, click the Spreadsheet button and then click Export.
In the Export dialog box, click Back Up All Projects.
Click the folder that you want to hold the backup file.
Click Save.
A *.zip file is saved.
To restore an audio project from this *.zip file, manually extract the audio project files you want to restore. Then, import that file.
You cannot export of *.ptf file or a backup *.zip file if you are offline ( with Desktop) with an online project and the project has new content which was added while offline.
In this case, log in to sync the project with the servers.
While online, you can export a single PTF file (*.ptf) and store it as a backup file.
If you work online, the audio projects are stored on servers, so a backup file is not necessary.
The Audio Project Manager checks to see if files are already available on the local machine. If they are, they are not downloaded again.
The best the person to back up the projects might be the person who did most of the audio recording or who downloaded most of the resource files.
It will take longer for others to back up the projects.
