Disassociate audio files

After audio files are uploaded, they are associated with passages. Later, if for some reason you did not want to keep a file associated with a passage, you can, disassociate it.

Rejected audio files are not typically disassociated. Instead, upload and associate an updated audio file. Then, the number in the Version column will show that there had been other files associated with that passage.

If you need to disassociate an audio file, do these steps:

  1. Click the Audio tab.

  2. Click the PIC (Disassociate) button that is in the row you want to disassociate.

The disassociation happens immediately with no opportunity to cancel it.

So, if you disassociated the wrong one, you need to associate it again
