An audio project is set of one or more sections with passages that will be transcribed into one particular language.
There are two types:
Scripture (
) uses Scripture referencing with book, chapter and verse. This allows you to integrate the text with Paratext and enables the Term Verify tool (if it is part of your workflow). The Book column allows you to select front matter such as Introduction and Preface and so on, but these might also be entered as Note (
) contents.
General (
or
) uses free-form references without the concept of a book. You cannot integrate with Paratext. General projects would typically be used for Introduction or Preface information that is larger in scope than an individual single canonical or non-canonical book.
Audio projects can also be either personal (
) or team (
).
You cannot change this after the audio project has been created.
The
Home topic describes the audio project cards and the buttons on them.
Audio projects that are added offline are only available offline.
That is, offline audio projects remain locally on your computer and are not uploaded or available if you go online.
You can back up your audio projects and restore them on another computer.
You can select a layout. Your workflow can be affected by your selection of Hierarchical or Flat.
The Sort Projects dialog box helps you sort the audio projects.
